Overview
The elderly writer Rishat, who has achieved recognition, feels an imminent death and increasingly begins to remember his roots and goes to his small homeland and dedicates a new novel to her. The hero's son, Amir, a young successful Kazan film director, does not understand the strict and wayward father, who, in his opinion, "lives in the past", but wants to get at least some approval from him.
