Biography

Erika Shishido (born September 25, 1970), better known by her ring name Aja Kong, is a Japanese professional wrestler, media personality and occasional actress. She is perhaps best known for her time in All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (AJW) between 1986 and 1997, winning the WWWA World Single Championship twice among various other accolades. She later founded the Hyper Visual Fighting ARSION promotion, which closed in 2003.

She currently wrestles across the Japanese independent circuit, most frequently for the promotions OZ Academy, Sendai Girls' Pro-Wrestling and Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling (TJPW). She has also appeared in the past for American promotions World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE), All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and Shimmer Women Athletes. She is a member of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON) Hall of Fame, inducted in 2006.
