Biography

Manami Toyota (born March 2, 1971) is a Japanese retired professional wrestler, best known for her work with Japanese promotion All Japan Women's Pro-Wrestling (AJW). She is widely considered to be one of the greatest female professional wrestlers of all time, and held AJW's top title, the WWWA World Single Championship, four times in the 1990s, among other championships. Following AJW's closure, Toyota continued to work in other joshi promotions such as GAEA Japan, NEO Japan Ladies Pro-Wrestling, Ice Ribbon and OZ Academy, before retiring in 2017.
