Biography

Benjamin 'Benji' Irwin was raised in small town Bancroft Ontario before moving to Toronto for college and to start his Cinematography career. Shooting projects since 2014 Benji has acquired experience in a wide range of narrative films; music videos; corporate videos and promotional videos. Most recently, his project "Expanding" by BisonBison was a finalist for best indie music video in Dropout Entertainments Independent Music Video awards.

Benji has shot multiple projects that have seen success online, including the first season of Couple-Ish garnering 400,000+ views, "Stuck" the short film with over 25 million views on Youtube (Top Viewed Live-Action Romance Film on Youtube), featured on DiscoverFilm & Shortoftheweek.com (Available on Amazon Prime US/UK) and winning multiple awards. His most recent narrative projects include pilots for TV series "Wasting Love" & "Wilds of Canada", as well as short films "Sleep Without a Dream & "Overkill"
