Robert Foxworth is an American actor born on November 1, 1941, in Houston, Texas. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from Carnegie Mellon University and began his career as a stage actor, notably performing at Washington D.C.'s Arena Stage. Foxworth is best known for his television roles, including Chase Gioberti on the popular soap opera "Falcon Crest" (1981–1987), and Bernard Chenowith in the drama series "Six Feet Under" (2001–2003). He also starred in Gene Roddenberry's 1974 TV movie "The Questor Tapes." Over his long career, Foxworth appeared in diverse television shows such as "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine," "The West Wing," and "Law & Order," and lent his voice to characters like the Autobot Ratchet in the "Transformers" film series. Foxworth was married to actress Elizabeth Montgomery from 1993 until her death in 1995 and has been married to Stacey Thomas since 1998.
