Biography

Piotr Wereśniak is a screenwriter and director. He graduated from the Faculty of Cultural Studies at the University of Wrocław and then, in 1992, from the Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia. That same year, he won a special award from "Film" magazine in a national film idea competition. Since then he has written screenplays for productions such as "Kiler," "Pan Tadeusz," "Złotopolscy," and "It's Me, Thief." For many years, he directed the series "Na dobre i na złe," "M jak miłość," and "Barwy szczęścia." He won awards at the Gdynia Film Festival for his films "Stacja" and "Oh, Karol 2."
