Biography

George Duroy (born Lanning Jánošov on July 26, 1957) is a Slovak film producer and director, best known as the founder of BelAmi, a European studio specializing in gay adult entertainment. Since the early 1990s, he has gained international recognition for producing visually polished films with cinematic storytelling and an emphasis in youthful male beauty, particularly through the Kinky Angels series, which highlights emerging performers. BelAmi’s films have been distributed via DVD, and online streaming for subscribers of its own websites and other third-party platforms. The studio maintains offices in Bratislava, Prague, and Budapest.

Duroy adopted his professional name from the main character in Guy de Maupassant’s novel Bel Ami.
